Summary

KiddoWorld (“the app”) is an educational app for children aged 3–7, published by Proreached (“we”, “us”).

KiddoWorld works completely offline. We do not collect, receive, store on servers, share or sell any personal information from children or parents. The app has no servers, and the release version does not request Android's Internet permission.

Information we do not collect

The app does not ask for or collect:

There are no accounts, no registration, no chat or social features, no links out of the app for children, and no advertising, analytics or tracking tools.

Information stored only on the device

To work, the app keeps the following in its private storage on the device. We never receive it.

WhatWhy
A broad age range (for example “4–5 years”)To suggest suitable activities. No name or birthdate.
A chosen cartoon buddy and interestsTo personalise the home screen. Chosen from built-in options.
Learning progress (activities played, answers, stars, badges, stickers)To show progress and rewards.
Artwork the child chooses to saveSo the child can see their drawings again.
Daily usage minutesOnly for the optional screen-time limit a parent can set.
Settings (sound, language, accessibility, reminders) and an optional parent PINTo remember the family's choices.

This information stays on the device. Android cloud backup is turned off for the app, so it is not copied to any cloud account.

Device permissions

The app does not use the camera, microphone, location, contacts or device storage outside its own private folder.

Daily play reminders

If a parent allows notifications, the app can show a friendly reminder once or twice a day suggesting an activity. These reminders are created and scheduled on the device itself. No push-notification service or server is involved, and no data is sent anywhere.

Reminders are never shown after the bedtime set by the parent, can be turned off at any time in the Parent Zone or in Android settings, and stop on their own if the app isn't used for a while.

Voice (text-to-speech)

Spoken instructions use the text-to-speech engine already installed on the device. The app only asks that engine to read built-in lesson text aloud. It never records audio and never uses the microphone.

Sharing a learning report

In the Parent Zone, a parent can choose to share a plain-text learning summary using the device's share menu. This happens only when the parent chooses to, and the parent decides where it goes. The app itself sends nothing.

Parent Zone

Settings, reports and data controls are behind a parent gate: an adult challenge (press and hold, then type numbers written as words) or an optional 4-digit PIN.

Deleting data

Because we hold no copy of any data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Children's privacy

KiddoWorld is designed for children and to meet the expectations of children's privacy laws such as COPPA (United States), the GDPR and UK GDPR including the Age Appropriate Design Code, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, and Google Play's Families policy, by not collecting personal data at all.

If a future version ever adds a feature that could involve personal data or advertising, we will update this policy first and obtain verifiable parental consent where required before that feature is turned on.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
