Privacy Policy for Echo Island

In short: Echo Island does not collect, store on any server, share or sell any personal information. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it never connects to the internet. Your game progress stays on your own device.
1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Echo Island (Android package com.proreached.echoisland), published by EchoIsland ("we", "us"), handles information when you use it. It applies only to the Echo Island app. The same information is available inside the game under Settings > Privacy.
By using Echo Island you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Information we collect
We collect no personal information. Specifically, Echo Island does not collect:
- your name, email address, phone number or any account details (there are no accounts or logins);
- your location;
- contacts, photos, files, camera or microphone data;
- device identifiers, including the Android advertising ID;
- usage statistics, analytics, crash reports or any other data about how you play.
The game does not request Android's internet permission, so it has no way of sending information off your device.
3. Information stored on your device
To let you continue your adventure, the game saves the following only on your device, in the app's private storage that other apps cannot read:

This data is never sent to us or to anyone else, and it is not included in Android cloud backups. We cannot see or access it.
4. How we use information
Because we collect no information, we do not use, analyse, sell, rent or share any personal information for any purpose, including advertising.
5. Permissions

The game uses no other permissions.
6. Third-party services
Echo Island contains no third-party advertising, analytics, tracking or social-media code. It is built with the open-source Godot Engine, which does not collect data in the game. The game's fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License.
Google Play, from which you download the game, is operated by Google and has its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
7. In-game trading and purchases
Echo Island is free. It has no in-app purchases and no real-money transactions. Trading with characters in the game uses only in-game items.
8. Children's privacy
Echo Island is suitable for all ages. Because the game collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). The game contains no ads, no chat, no links out of the app and no way to share information with other people.
9. Data retention and deletion
We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to keep or delete. You control the data on your device:
- delete a save slot in the game under Settings > Save & data;
- clear all game data in Android under Settings > Apps > Echo Island > Storage > Clear storage;
- uninstall the game, which deletes all of its data from your device.
10. Security
Your saves are kept in Android's private app storage, which other apps cannot access. Because nothing is transmitted over the internet, no data is exposed in transit.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar laws give you rights to access, correct, delete or move your personal data, and to object to or restrict its use. Because Echo Island does not collect or process any personal data, we hold nothing these rights could apply to. We do not sell or share personal information. 12. Changes to this policy
If we ever change how Echo Island handles information, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date above. If a future version were to collect any information, the game and its Google Play page would say so before anything is collected.
